The Florida Suncoast Chorus meets weekly to rehearse, perform, socialize, and have FUN! We currently have singers of all ages and genders, and are one of over 800 Chapters of the Barberhop Harmony Society, an International organization of 25,000 members all over the world.
Performance
We love performing and will bring some musical magic to any event of any kind. We regularly present our own shows at community events, parties, and corporate events. We also deliver Singing Telegrams around Valentines Day. Our Chorus and our Chapter Quartets are available to sing at your next function or event. Education
In addition to sharing our music with others, another great passion of ours is speading the joy of acapella singing through education. Vocal instruction is a regular part of chorus rehearsals, and attention is given to individual members to bring out the best in their voice. A couple of times a year, we will get coaching from a visiting master in the choral arts. The kind of voice instruction that we offer would cost hundreds of dollars in other contexts. Ours is free to all members.
Competition
The Florida Suncoast Chorus participates in the "Sunshine District" Regional Competition. This is a special time for quartets and choruses from our region to come together and sing for each other, while also getting some constructive feedback from a panel of judges. The winners of the regional competition in both quartet and chorus categories get to travel to International Competition, which is held in July annually in various cities around the country. 
Quartets
We have a number of members who form their own vocal quartets in addition to singing with the chorus. Florida Suncoast Chorus currently is home to a number of wonderful quartets, and we are very proud of them! Click here to see our quartet section to learn more about them.

The Florida Suncoast Chorus is a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a non-profit organization of approximately 25,000 members in choruses and quartets, worldwide. The Headquarters is in Nashville, TN.
